Veteran cornerback Richard Sherman didn’t have to wait too long after becoming a free agent this offseason, following his sudden release from the Seattle Seahawks last March.
Just a few short days later, Sherman was sitting down with San Francisco 49ers brass to ink out a three-year deal, much of which was incentive laden and giving the now-30 year old a chance to prove himself after suffering an Achilles injury in 2017.
And according to the MMQB’s Robert Klemko, a big draw for Sherman was Niners quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.
