Antonio Brown wants out of Pittsburgh, and if some current 49er greats are listening to some of old, San Francisco will make a push for the dynamic receiver.
Eric Davis, who played cornerback for six seasons in San Francisco and won the 1995 Super Bowl with the 49ers, recently took to Twitter to encourage current 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman to pursue and secure Brown.
Oh, and if that's not shooting high enough, he wants Sherman to get former All-Pro free safety Earl Thomas, too.
The 49ers have needs at both the wide receiver and free safety positions, and Brown and Thomas would certainly invigorate the team with talent and experience they'll be hard pressed to find in any alternatives.
