San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster was on the sideline for much of the fourth quarter against the Jacksonville Jaguars, despite the game ultimately coming down to the wire. Many were wondering if he was hurt and it turns out: yes he was.
Foster sustained another shoulder stinger in the game, a 44-33 win for San Francisco, though head coach Kyle Shanahan said that Foster was healthy enough to go back into the game if needed. Shanahan confirmed after the game that the team wanted to keep Foster ready for the Week 17 finale against the Los Angeles Rams.
