Reuben Foster out again; Eric Reid active for Sunday’s game.

LANDOVER, MD.

The heir apparent to NaVorro Bowman, Reuben Foster, is inactive again for Sunday’s game. This will be the fifth game the rookie linebacker has missed. Foster, who suffered a high ankle sprain in Week One, lobbied for playing time last week, imploring, “Give me some candy.”

Instead, Ray-Ray Amrstrong is expected to start again in Foster’s place. Brock Coyle is expected to start in place of Bowman, who was released on Friday.

Safety Eric Reid, who was injured in Week Two in Seattle but has been an engaged spokesman for the 49ers in recent weeks, is active for the first time since the Seattle game.
