The San Francisco 49ers welcomed Reuben Foster back to practice last week, and it would appear he is going to take some time working his way up the depth chart. On Wednesday, the 49ers held their second open practice of OTAs, and Foster was seen doing work with the strength and conditioning staff and individual drills. When team drills got started, he did not participate.
The 49ers excused Foster from the offseason workout program while he was addressing his legal issues in Santa Clara. He was formally excused on April 12th after he was charged with three felonies in connection to a February arrest.
