The saga continues. Kyle Shanahan took to the podium following day 11 of training camp and knew what questions would await him. The first nine questions were about Brandon Aiyuk and his contract situation. Shanahan highlighted that the problem is in the same spot it has been for some time, that losing Aiyuk would be a huge loss for the 49ers, and that Shanahan has no timetable for a possible resolution.
Shanahan also said: “There’s a scenario for everything,” and “he won’t rule anything out.” Aiyuk was in the building and wide receiver meetings with the team yesterday.
