At least one of the Raiders’ controversial 2019 offseason signings has appeared to work out.
The team reportedly agreed to a two-year, $14 million extension with guard Richie Incognito. Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer first reported the deal and NFL Network’s Ian Rappoport was first with the terms.
Incognito was a boon for the Raiders’ offensive line, helping stabilize a unit that was hurt by several injuries throughout the year. Football Outsiders ranked Oakland the NFL’s fourth-best offensive line heading into Sunday’s games.
Incognito, of course, came with a fair amount of baggage.
