Last week, Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio revealed that five teams were interested in trading for San Francisco 49ers star receiver Brandon Aiyuk during the draft, even going as far as to set up acceptable contract offers for the wideout.
Ultimately, none of those deals panned out, as Aiyuk remained a 49er through the draft, and is likely to remain on the team for the 2024 season.
Well, one of those five teams were the New England Patriots, and Florio revealed that they offered the No. 34 pick for Aiyuk back during the draft, which the 49ers rejected.
