The Case Keenum era lasted one year and now the Denver Broncos are going in a different direction. Reports are coming out that Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco has been traded to the Denver Broncos. The trade cannot be ratified until the new league year begins in March. The compensation has not be disclosed but Ian Rapoport says it’s a mid-round draft selection.
The Ravens moved on from Flacco for rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson in the 2018 season. Given Jackson’s youth, rookie contract, and Baltimore’s decision to go to a more read-option/spread offense, Flacco’s days were numbered.
