Tight end George Kittle has agreed to a five-year contract extension with the San Francisco 49ers worth up to $75 million, NFL Network's Michael Silver and Ian Rapoport reported on Thursday.
The #49ers & star TE George Kittle are in agreement on a 5-year, $75M extension, sources tell me & @MikeSilver, one that gives him more than half of it in guarantees. Language is being worked on, but numbers are there. One of their top players, this was a big-time priority ud83dudcb0ud83dudcb0ud83dudcb0

As is the case with many high-profile NFL signings, the gaudy-looking top-line numbers are a bit deceiving, since Kittle will likely not obtain the full $75 million by the end of the extension.
