Offense: Running back DuJuan Harris delivered some pop in his first start of the season, especially as a pass catcher, and the 49ers' "catch and knife" attack got rolling in the first half. The demerits include a first-quarter interception by Colin Kaepernick and an inability to carry second-quarter momentum into the second half. Grade: C+
Defense: The 49ers have now given up 100 rushing yards to seven straight opposing tailbacks. New Orleans' Mark Ingram cruised past the 100-yard barrier early in the third quarter on his way to 158 yards total. The only question by game's end was whether San Francisco would allow two 100-yard rushers.
