Offense: The middle of the game featured seven straight 49ers punts followed by a fumble. That snoozefest, however, was erased by two Colin Kaepernick-led touchdown drives at game’s end and a big decision by Chip Kelly to go for a two-point conversion and avoid overtime. Grade: B
Defense: Heading into the game, the 49ers had one interception by a cornerback all season. They had two in that category Saturday, one by Tramaine Brock and another by Rashard Robinson that sealed the victory. Meanwhile, a 49ers run defense that leaked all season held the Rams to 99 total rushing yards.
