Offense: Brian Hoyer finished regulation time on fire, including big fourth-quarter throws to Marquise Goodwin and rookie tight end George Kittle, both of which set up touchdowns. But he and the 49ers couldn’t take advantage of Ray-Ray Armstrong’s interception in overtime and gave the ball back to the Colts so that they could win it instead. Grade: C-
Defense: The 49ers have just three interceptions on the season. Two of them have been delivered by Armstrong, whose second came in the end zone in overtime on Sunday. For a short moment, that play masked a game that was full of missed tackles, especially by the 49ers secondary.
