The San Francisco 49ers got out of Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks with few injuries, except a particular one sending cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon to the sidelines. It looked like a knee injury and given the body part we can all assume the worse. Ian Rapoport reports that it’s an MRI confirmed a knee sprain. He will not need surgery.
A knee sprain could no doubt end Witherspoon’s season with the 49ers having two more games to go. The good part is that it’s about all the injury will take as it won’t keep him out of any activities in 2019.
