San Francisco police arrested 49ers tight end Bruce Miller for an alleged assault that sent a 70-year-old man and his son to the hospital, KTVU-TV reported on Monday.
“The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the media report regarding Bruce Miller,” the 49ers said in a statement. “We are gathering the relevant facts of this matter and will continue to monitor the situation.”
According to the report, Miller tried to check into the San Francisco’s Marriott Fisherman’s Wharf on Sunday night but was told the hotel had no vacancies.
He returned Monday morning and knocked on one of the guest room doors, KTVU reported, citing sources.
