Report: 49ers re-sign Tony Jerod-Eddie

On the day they begin their offseason program, the 49ers reportedly took care of some business.

Tony Jerod-Eddie signed a one-year deal worth $1.3 million, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Back in March, CSNBayArea.com's Matt Maiocco reported that the 49ers were working towards a new contract for the defensive lineman.

The 49ers did not announce a qualifying offer for Jerod-Eddie, because they apparently did not deem him worth the $1.671 million minimum qualifying offer for a restricted free agent.

Jerod-Eddie appeared in 47 games the past three seasons as a rotational player on the defensive line.
