The San Francisco 49ers continue to churn the bottom of their roster. Per The Athletic’s Matt Barrows, the team intends on signing veteran safety Tracy Walker, who worked out for the Niners Wednesday. This move comes after the team released Erik Harris prior to the start of Wednesday’s practice.
George Odum continues to start in place of the injured Talanoa Hufanga. It was previously reported that Hufanga could join the team as early as joint practices against the New Orleans Saints next week. Hufanga has occasionally been on the field as a spectator during practice.
