We’ve long penciled in 49ers unrestricted free agent cornerback K’Waun Williams to sign with the New York Jets as their new head coach Robert Saleh has raved about K’Waun’s skills in the slot. So much so that Saleh named his slot blitz “shark” after Williams.
On Sunday, Mike Kaye, beat reporter for the Philadelphia Eagles of NJ.com, reported that Williams is flying to Kansas City on Monday for a visit with the Chiefs on Tuesday. Kaye also confirmed what everyone else assumed, that the Jets are interested in Williams’s services.
