Who could blame running back Reggie Bush for wanting to sue the city of St. Louis?
Bush was shoved out of bounds during the early part of the 49ers’ 27-6 loss in St. Louis. He then lost his footing when he hit the slippery concrete that borders a padded wall. Bush went down and said he felt something pop in his knee.
The “pop” was cartilage ripping. Subsequent surgery to repair the cartilage put him on season-ending injured reserve. It also prompted him to investigate a possible suit against the city of St. Louis for failing to cover a slick surface so close to the field.
