After hitting a blocking sled today, Carlos Hyde sounds as if he’s ready to slam into some Cardinals on Sunday.
The 49ers running back has missed two games with a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder, but he sounded far more optimistic about his chances to return than he did a week ago.
“Things are headed in a good direction,” he said. “Hopefully things stay on track, nothing takes me off track leading up to Sunday. There’s a good chance I will be out there.”
Hyde said he’s pain-free and has full range of motion in his shoulder, unlike last week when certain movements caused discomfort.
