The sad, reckless, and dangerous behavior of former 49ers defensive end Ray McDonald continues to mystify. Five arrests in the last year, including two in the last week, have cost McDonald his job with the Chicago Bears.
McDonald was released from the 49ers in December after a charge of sexual assault surfaced, which was preceded by a domestic violence arrest in August. McDonald was cleared of the first charge because of insufficient evidence, the second civil case is still pending. On Monday, McDonald was arrested for domestic violence and child endangerment after allegedly bashing in a bathroom door to get to his girlfriend and a baby.
