Thaddeus Moss, son of Hall of Fame receiver Randy Moss, angrily disputed a report on social media about his father’s unconfirmed health issues.
The former Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers receiver announced on the Dec. 1 episode of ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown” that he was “battling” an unspecified illness. Randy Moss asked for prayers and encouraged people to “do your checkups, get your bloodwork done” in an Instagram video posted that same day. ESPN then posted a statement on Friday that Moss would be stepping away from the show to deal with the illness.
