The San Francisco 49ers’ defense just got its biggest boost of the season with not just the long-awaited comeback of Dre Greenlaw but also the surprising return of Nick Bosa, signaling a potentially long night for Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford.
Greenlaw makes his triumphant return to the field after he tore his Achilles while running back onto the field during the Super Bowl earlier this year. The Niners opened his practice window on Nov. 27 and finally upgraded him off the physically unable to perform list for this Thursday night performance.
Bosa has seen the field this season but had missed the previous three games following an oblique injury that was the result of a previous oblique injury forcing him to compensate on a sack attempt against the Seahawks.
