SANTA CLARA — George Kittle was back practicing with the tight ends, perhaps the most positive sight Tuesday as the 49ers went through their final official practice before the regular season.
Kittle sustained a separated shoulder in the Aug. 9 exhibition opener and, although he didn’t run any routes during the brief media window before Tuesday’s team drills, he looks capable of making the 49ers’ season debut Sept. 9 at the Minnesota Vikings.
Garrett Celek lined up with the first-string offense in warmups.
