Underclassmen have until January 15 to declare for the 2018 NFL Draft, but it would appear the players likely to go in the first round are all declared. Two days after Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen declared for the draft, Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson has announced his plans to enter the draft.
The news is not surprising. Jackson put together a second straight monster season, throwing for 3,660 yards and rushing for 1,601 yards. He finished with 45 combined touchdowns and is the kind of playmaker that will entice somebody in the first round.
