Quarterback Nick Mullens, a 2017 undrafted free agent who has never taken a regular-season snap, will make his NFL debut tonight against the Raiders at Levi’s Stadium, the 49ers announced this afternoon.
Mullens will get the nod with C.J. Beathard dealing with a sprained right wrist he sustained in an 18-15 loss at Arizona on Sunday. Beathard will be active tonight, meaning he could be pressed into action if Mullens struggles and he’ll be available if Mullens is sidelined.
