San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch flashed shades of former Niners GM Trent Baalke when the team grabbed former NC State defensive tackle Kentavius Street in Round 4, No. 128 overall, in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Street, after all, suffered a torn ACL during his 2018 pro day, which collapsed his draft stock and convinced many a fan he’d be yet another addition to San Francisco’s infamous “All-ACL” team of the past few years — none of which ever truly worked out at the NFL level.
But what if Street winds up being an exception.
