A few weeks ago, I released my initial rankings for what positions the San Francisco 49ers should consider with the 11th pick in April’s draft.
Since then, plenty has changed. The combine has come and gone, with the draft board impacted by the results from the annual tryout. The 49ers have also gone through some changes with Deebo Samuel out of the door and the 49ers front office looking to cut money by looking the way of Brandon Aiyuk, Javon Hargrave, and Yetur Gross-Matos.
This new cost-cutting philosophy makes the draft much more important for a team desperate for a sixth Lombardi.
