I can’t explain why, but I love uniform changes. When I was a kid, I always l loved looking through my Eastbay catalog (yeah, I get it, I’m old) and checking out which teams had new logos or jerseys. Now that the 49ers have announced they’re considering an alternate helmet, Leo Luna and I wondered what it should look like in today’s Niners Nation podcast.
First off, as much as we loved the 1994 helmets, using them again would be a waste. The current helmets are too close to that ‘94 version for the change to be impactful.
