Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told reporters today that he believes Colin Kaepernick remains a starting-caliber quarterback in the NFL. But the Seahawks aren't signing him at this moment.
Seattle is the only team that has brought Kaepernick, the longtime 49ers passer, in for a visit since he became a free agent in early March. The Seahawks did so last week, visiting with Kaepernick and another free-agent quarterback, Austin Davis.
"At this time, we didn't do anything with it," Carroll said. "But we know where he is and who he is and we had a chance to understand him much more so.
