There are several dominos that will fall in the quarterback market, and one of the most intriguing continues to be Jimmy Garoppolo. The New England Patriots have their clear starter in Tom Brady, but given his age, having a solid backup remains kind of a big deal.
Garoppolo has been connected to a variety of teams, but the Patriots appear to be playing hard ball in any deal. Nobody seems to know for sure what it will cost to Garoppolo, but speculation suggests it could be pricey. Cleveland Browns beat writer Mary Kay Cabot heard from one source that it “might” require a first round pick this year and a first round pick next year.
