Back in October, Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson asked for a trade before the NFL trade deadline. Nothing ever came of the request, but it was an issue the Cardinals would have to address at some point. He was never going to end up with the San Francisco 49ers, but it was a situation that would be worth following.
We can officially call an end to PP watch. On Wednesday at the Waste Management Open Celebrity Pro-Am in Scottsdale, Arizona, Peterson had a great shot on the 16th hole, and shortly after rescinded his trade request.
