It’s about time people in the NFL realize the San Francisco 49ers really are a team to be reckoned with. Many thought beating up the Los Angeles Rams weeks ago would be that indication, but skeptics remained.
This game, the 49ers’ 51-13 dominant Week 8 win over the Carolina Panthers, should quell this notion. With the win, San Francisco improves to 7-0 and stays as one of only two remaining undefeated squads nearing the halfway point of the regular season.
The Niners haven’t played very many complete games this year. A slew of turnovers, a litany of flags or offensive stagnation due to a torrential rainstorm, there’s always been something that seems to hold the team back.
