Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy said he was not fazed to see the 49ers get blown out in back-to-back games at Pittsburgh and Arizona. The 49ers lost those games by a combined 65 points – the franchise’s largest margins of defeat in consecutive weeks since 1980.
When asked on a conference call with Bay Area reporters on Wednesday whether he was surprised the 49ers weren’t competitive in the past two weeks, McCarthy answered, “I wouldn’t say that.
