The Carolina Panthers fired their offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach earlier this week, and they have found replacements, including a familiar face. The Panthers are set to hire Norv Turner as offensive coordinator, and his son Scott to serve as quarterbacks coach.
Norv last worked for the Minnesota Vikings, as offensive coordinator from 2014 to 2016. He’s familiar to 49ers fans from his 2006 stint as San Francisco’s offensive coordinator, and then of course his time as Dallas Cowboys OC from 1991 to 1993.
So, what exactly was Norv up to after his time in Minnesota?
