It’s been a while since most San Francisco 49ers fans have felt this good about the franchise heading into the offseason stretch before meaningful football takes place.
The Niners made quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo the league’s highest-paid player, while also questioning promising linebacker Reuben Foster’s off-field decision-making process. There was free agency, signing a former No. 1 adversary in cornerback Richard Sherman, all the speculation now leading up to the 2018 NFL Draft and much more.
