A week from tonight, the 49ers take the field as the NFC’s only remaining undefeated team, and they’ll put their 3-0 record up against the visiting Cleveland Browns (2-2). Here are other Monday morning morsels to digest:
1. The 49ers will practice today from roughly 11:20 a.m. to 12:40 p.m., and another light session will follow Tuesday. These “bonus” practices are intended to get them back into the groove after last weekend’s bye, and, after Wednesday’s day off, full-time practices resume Thursday. Coach Kyle Shanahan added the two practices, plus last Tuesday’s, in hopes of avoiding last season’s post-bye blunders that led to a 27-9 loss at Tampa in November.
