Seattle Seahawks tight end Jacob Hollister came up just short of the goal line on Seattle’s final offensive play of the night against the San Francisco 49ers, but no one knew exactly what was going on in the immediate aftermath.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson signaled touchdown, while 49ers safety Jimmie Ward grabbed the ball and ran 100 yards down the field, thinking it may have been a fumble.
49ers defensive end Nick Bosa thought Seattle scored.
“I mean, I thought we lost,” Bosa told ESPN after the game. “I honestly thought we lost. I thought the bye week was out the door.
