The Cleveland Browns have yet to hire a new head coach after firing Freddy Kitchens back on Dec. 29, but the organization appears to be continuing to do what it can to curry favor with reported top candidate and 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh.
Cleveland has requested permission to interview Indianapolis Colts assistant general manager Ed Dodds for Cleveland’s vacant GM position, WKRK-FM’s Dustin Fox reports.

Dodds is among the names on Saleh’s list of GM’s he’d want to be paired up with if hired by the Browns, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer reports.
