California once again finds itself dealing with devastating wildfires, and even as people get out of the path of them, air quality is a problem across the state. While football games are entirely insignificant in the face of the problems these fires are creating across the state, they could be impacted nonetheless.
The San Francisco 49ers had their second practice of the week on Friday and bumped it up from 1:50 to 12:45 because air quality was expected to get considerably worse by the time practice was underway. The 49ers have a practice scheduled for Saturday, but there is no word yet as to the status of it.
