NFLPA president Eric Winston tells Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk that there haven’t been any talks between the union and the NFL about extending the current CBA agreement.
“We’re still trying to figure out how and when that’s going to happen,” Winston said.
An issue for the two parties is that the NFLPA would prefer to have the new TV deals in place, considering that a large portion of their revenue is tied to these contracts. However, NFL owners would like to have a new agreement in place before the current TV contracts expire.
