The Seattle Seahawks might be adding some running back depth. The team is bringing in running back Fred Jackson for a visit. We break down what it means.
The most surprising move thus far of the first roster cutdown saw the Buffalo Bills release veteran running back Fred Jackson. He was due $2.3 million in 2015, with a cap hit of $2,731,250, so given that he is 34, it is not entirely shocking the Bills released him. I imagine one reason they did it now instead of this coming weekend is to give him a little more time to land somewhere before final roster cuts.
