It was a good week for San Francisco 49ers fans. While they beat the New England Patriots in convincing fashion, everyone else in the division lost.
And like that, the 49ers jump from last place to second place. It’s amazing how numbers work in the first quarter of the season.
With the Cardinals and Rams both each having one win a piece, they are already beginning to circle the drain. Should the 49ers beat the Cardinals this Sunday, that’s going to cause a deficit very difficult to overcome.
