It could not get any better for Shareece Wright. The 49ers new starting left cornerback and the team’s top free agent acquisition is staying in his native California and he is coming to an aggressive defense that could position him to intercept passes
Wright is, now that Chris Cook was released earlier in the day, the most experienced veteran corner on the team.
“You always want to get to that point,” Wright said. “To be the veteran in the room, it’s an honor for me to be in this position.”
Wright might also enjoy the pressure schemes of new defensive coordinator Eric Mangini.
