Earlie this offseason, the San Francisco 49ers signed CFL standout wide receiver Eric Rogers to a 2-year deal worth $1.14 million. Rogers decided to use part of his guaranteed money to buy his mom a new car. Earlier this week, he posted a picture with his mom and the new car he bought her. Congrats to mom and son!

The deal included a signing bonus of $125,000, plus $100,000 of his first year salary fully guaranteed. If he does not make the roster, that $100,000 would be just a shade under a practice squad salary.
