New 49ers receiver Emmanuel Sanders says he only has two or three years left playing football

The San Francisco 49ers traded two 2020 draft picks to the Denver Broncos to acquire Emmanuel Sanders, a receiver who has more catches for first downs this season than the 49ers' current leading receiver (Deebo Samuel) has total catches.

Sanders was brought in to give the 49ers another needed weapon in the passing game for a likely postseason run, but some were left concerned that the 49ers — who are already down their second-round pick in 2020 — gave up too much draft capital when they traded their third and fourth-round picks to Denver for Sanders and a 2020 fifth.
