NaVorro Bowman injures leg, walks off with bad limp

The San Francisco 49ers defense suffered what could be a big blow on Sunday, as linebacker NaVorro Bowman went down with an injury. In the third quarter, Bowman’s leg buckled without contact, and he went to the ground. He was able to get up and walk off the field, but he was walking with a serious limp.

Here’s a look at the injury.

After Bowman went off the field, the trainers were seen taking his shoe off and looking at the lower leg. Cam Inman and Eric Branch tweeted that Bowman was subsequently taken to the locker room.
