Montana or Brady? The debate re-emerges on Twitter

What’s better, 5-3 or 4-0?

That’s what we tweeted after Sunday’s Super Bowl, and nobody had to explain the numbers.

Tom Brady’s New England Patriots were 41-33 losers to the Philadelphia Eagles, leaving the quarterback with a 5-3 record in eight league championship games.

Joe Montana, of course, went 4-0.

Had Brady orchestrated another amazing comeback instead of fumbling in the final seconds, he’d have been 6-2 with seemingly a distinct edge over Montana. But 5-3? Is that superior to 4-0?
