Evidently Mike Person made a miraculous recovery.
After not practicing during the week due to a foot injury he sustained in last week’s season-opening loss to Minnesota, the 49ers starting right guard is active for today’s home opener against the Lions.
It was widely expected the 49ers would start undrafted rookie guard Najee Toran, who was promoted from the practice squad Monday after Person and his backup, Joshua Garnett (toe), were injured against the Vikings.
