A purple, glowing rectangle is haunting the drivers of the Bay Area. For that, you can thank Minnesota's KDWB 101.3 FM, who purchased space on a number of electronic billboards across the San Francisco metro area in advance of the 49ers-Vikings NFC Divisional Round playoff game on Saturday at Levi's Stadium.
The ad shows a mock scoreboard with the Vikings winning 101-3, a nod to the radio station's channel number. It's also emblazoned with the KDWB logo and the Twitter handle of Dave Ryan, who hosts a morning radio show on 101.3.
